Synopsis
High pressure, 30.30 inches, will quickly exit east of the region Tonight. Low pressure of 29.62 inches then tracks east across southern Ontario Tonight into Sunday, intensifying to around 29.44 inches as it tracks east across the James Bay area Sunday night. This low will drive a cold front across the region on Sunday, resulting in south winds to start the day becoming west and northwesterly throughout Sunday afternoon and evening. Northwest winds increase to around 25 to 30 knots Sunday night into Monday morning, with the strongest winds across the northern third of Lake Huron where we an occasional gust to 34 knots cannot be ruled out.
