Synopsis
Surface high pressure will hold northeast of the waters through the weekend while a surface trough develops over the western Gulf. This will keep east and southeast winds in place. A cold front will push into the northeastern Gulf on Monday then stall out over the central waters by Wednesday, bringing an increase in storm chances and increasing winds over the northeastern Gulf to Cautionary, possibly Advisory levels.
